Tour Itinerary: Tantra Holiday

Day 1: Orientation meditation and yoga session by an expert, in English. This session will lay the foundation for our mediation sessions to follow in the coming 2 weeks.

Visit to the “Dilli Haat” - An upgraded version of the traditional weekly market, offering a delightful amalgam of craft, food and cultural activities. Spread over a spacious six acre area, imaginative landscaping, creative planning, and the traditional village architectural style have combined to produce the perfect ambiance for a “haat” or market place. Evening Ayurvedic Massage session. These will help relive any stress you may have because of travel or jet lag.

Day 2: Early morning transfer to the city of Agra, home to world Famous ”The Taj Mahal”. Sightseeing at the Taj Mahal accompanied by a English guide. Visit the world heritage site - Fatehpur Sikri. Tie a wish knot at the tomb of Salim Chisti, it is a common belief in India that every wish is full filled by tying a knot at the tomb and when fulfilled one has to come back to open the knot. Transfer back to (Delhi).

Day 3: Departure from Delhi to the Meditation Ashram in Rishikesh. It is traditionally known as the spiritual capital of the globe. From the music legends like "The Beatles" to new age celebrities like actor Kate Winslet - everyone wants to come down to this city of Yogi's and Temples. It is believed that meditation in Rishikesh brings one closer to attainment of salvation, or moksha, as does a dip in the holy river that flows through. Evening Meditation/Yoga sessions at the Ashram or on the banks of the river Ganges.

Day 4: Morning meditations/yoga Session. Ayurvedic Massage: Let yourself glow with 2 body treatments: Ayurvedic Rejuvenating Massage or Relaxation massage. It is a traditional method that uses special therapeutic oils and herbs to provide a dose of Indian pampering to help relieve physical and mental tension. Relaxation massage is a subtle, gentle and deeply effective touch therapy to restore health from within. Relaxation, presence and witnessing inner changes and shifts create a beautiful space of meditation that is healing and regenerative.

Drive down to Haridwar to see the Ganga - Aarti (Prayer) on the banks of river Ganges. The Ganga Aarti which is celebrated at 7 pm each night, is a spectacular sight, when the aarti ceremony is performed at all temples in Haridwar at the same instant.

Day 5: Trekking through the Himalayas with a yoga and meditation teacher. The idea is you can walk, breathe the clean air and at the same time you will be trying the walking Zen meditations with the teacher. At reaching a particular point we will try and do the daily yoga class on top of the hill. Lunch will be served at the top and we should be back in time to witness the markets in the evening at Risikesh. The basic idea of these trekking mediation is to get you , your mind, body and spirit in rhythm with existence.

Day 6: This day is reserved for leisure activities. You can do what ever you feel like doing, of course we are always there to offer advice with regards to deciding your activity. Some of the options are: Visiting daily markets at Rishikesh/Shopping, Visiting temples and meeting with priest with English translator, White water rafting on the river ganges, Trantrix Sex mediation lessons, Visit to the Various ashrams, mediation and Yoga Centers, Bathe in the Holy river Ganges, Rickshaw ride through the city, Have Chai(Tea) with Sadhus on the banks of river Ganges.

Day 7: Early Morning Yoga/Meditation session at Rishikesh. Depart for Delhi by road. Visit the Akshardham Temple Complex - an amazing world of Indian culture ornate with 20, 000 statues, floral motifs, arches and exquisitely carved pillars. Dinner at an ethnic India restaurant - “ Punjabi by nature”.

Day 8: Transfer to Dharamsala by Air (Dharamsala is a hill station in the Himalayas which is famous as the residence of the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan government in exile at Mcleod Ganj. It is a popular destination for alternative travelers). Further transfer to the Our Meditation Retreat – A stunning retreat nestled in a valley a few kilometers before Dharamsala. This will be our base camp for the next 7 days. Orientation to the meditation retreat and our program there. Evening meditations and Bonfire dinner.

Days 9-13: Morning Sessions. Meditations practiced are from the spiritual traditions of: Tibetan Buddhism; Buddhism; Sufism; Tantra; Yoga; Gurdjieff fourth way school; Osho and Shiva. These Meditations include Active and Sitting Down Meditations that are based on simple techniques drawn from the rich spiritual traditions that exist in India and designed for our modern world.These meditations will be presided over by experts and are specially designed to help your inner self rejuvenate and be relaxed.

Experiential sessions, presentations, workshops or ceremonies presented in English by experts in the field of art, culture and consciousness. These may feature topics from the following areas: - Contemporary Indian Art - Tantric Wisdom - Intuitive Tarot - Indian Classical Dances - Reiki Ayurveda - A Way of Life - Osho - Gurdjieff Sacred Dances - Buddhism - Indian Marriage - Ceremony - Crystal Healing - Temple visits - Day tour to see the daily temple rituals of different religions.

Afternoon Session. Viist to the Norbulingka Monastery - Norbulingka was established to preserve and teach the ancient Tibetan arts. The shady paths, wooden bridges, small streams tiny water falls make this place look like heaven. Here one can watch the wooden carvings and embroidery being done. The nunnery close to the institute is a place where women are taught the advanced levels of Buddhist philosophy. Visit the Palace of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and Tsuglakhang Buddhist Temple. Visit various monasteries in Mc Leod Ganj - McLeodganj is Dharamsala's twin town. This is the seat of His Holiness the "Dalai Lama".

- Visit the Karmappa Monastery: Spiritual lessons by the Karmappa himself (If Available) through an English translator. - Visit the scenic surroundings of Naddi, the Bhagsu Falls and Shiva café. - Meditation Trekking: Small trek to Triund, meditation lessons during the trek (Zen Walk, Tao etc) and meditations at the open grounds under the blue roof (Subject to weather conditions). - Personal Meeting with Astrologer, tarot reader. - Tibetan Cooking Classes. - Day off for leisure at the retreat. - Personal Massage/Yoga sessions.

Day 14: Transfer from the meditation Retreat (Dharamsala) to Delhi by Air, further to Indira Gandhi International airport for outward departure with a rejuvenated innerself.
